I went to visit my other half in his lunch break today (he works in a comic book store), and I came across these cute little things. They are called Unicorno's, and there's a selection of ten to collect.
When purchased they come in a blind box, so it's a surprise what you get, but that's all part of the fun!
My other half said he'd buy me one, so I made him pick one for me. He just so happened to pick the one I wanted the most!
Mine's called Bellina and she's the cute pink one on the right hand side!
I think I may get addicted to collecting them.

'For me it has to remain underwear - and I don't want my underwear to disturb my outerwear'. - Veronique Branquinho
Marie Jo L'Aventure, a Belgium based lingerie label, has asked Veronique Branquinho to create a collaborative selective collection.
The final product of this collaboration is a stunning, polished, aesthetically perfect capsule.
The technical aspect is right on perfection, with a sublime fit offering comfort and style.
The colour is a beautiful emerald green, and looks stunning against the pale skin of the model.
Veronique Branquinho states that she took huge inspiration from 16th century artist Lucas Cranach.
Lucas Cranach was a German Renaissance Painter, one of The Old Masters, who drew many images of nude women seen in mythology and religion
She goes on to say that the Eves and Venuses seen in The Old Masters paintings remind her of women today. Women may have adapted to modern times, but we are all still the same form as women you see in these older images. Branquinho wants to be able to design for 'the universal woman of all time', 'time changes but the woman looks the same'.
Other inspirations Veronique Branquinho has take from couture. The shapes, the fabrics and the aesthetics, including layers and layers of tulle, along with reinforced pleats.
I think all lingerie designers should keep this quote stuck on their fridge to remind them that UNDERWEAR is for under, the outerwear.

My new ring. Bought it yesterday for £6 from Matalan. MATALAN?! But I love it. It's all gold, and sparkly and skeleton like.
Just been browsing the Alexander McQueen website and noticed these lookylikey's;
Gotta love a bit of McQueen.

Best day ever. My Foo Fighters tickets came today, for the gig on Saturday.
I have been wanting to see Dave Grohl live since I was 15...I am now 20. It only took 5 years to happen!
Think I will actually cry when I see him! Such a shame I'm going with my boyfriend...

Just wanted to share these beauties with you all. I unfortunatley don't know where they are from or what they were taken for as I came across them on a fashion forum, but they are absolutely stunning!
The shots make me think of the magical world of fairyland, where anything is possible.

Here's a selection of this weeks favourites featured on the Fox & Rose website:
This is the 'Eau De Vivre Shoulder Bra' by Brit brand Damaris.
It's a magical collaboration of a soft textured tulle and Swarovski Crystals. I am currently in love with this colour and it can be seen on many lingerie pieces! The turquoise tulle can be seen on the underband and ribbons, and is beautifully complimented by the sparkle of the crystals. The reflection of the silver, blue and turquoise creates an ocean mirage, making this lingerie set a truly breathtaking creation.
Not only are the colours and fabrics magical, the design is also remarkable. The shape is very different to usual bras, with the thick shoulder straps and wide set cups; it provides a lot of coverage for the bust whilst still being sexy and feminine. The cups are set apart, with a wide centre front, giving an illusion of the wearer revealing a lot of bust, however the fabric for the cups is covering and proceeds into a thick shoulder strap. Not only is this piece beautiful its practical. The wide shoulder straps provide support for the shoulders, and the layered cups add coverage and shape to the breasts.
Fleur of England keeps on wowing with their titillating bra's & knickers.
The above is a set from the 'Tease' collection, and is available in a rich, vibrant fuchsia. It is young, flirty and frivolous.
It is electric, sultry and beautiful. The bralet has wide silk straps and underband, as well as silk tape on the cups covering the seams used instead of the usual NL2 tape. The silk means this garment will be ultra soft against the skin, providing you with a comfortable yet flirty bralet.
I was watching a documentary the other day on how the feelings of certain materials against the skin can affect your current emotions. Turns out the feel of silk on the skin provides an emotion of joy and happiness, so if you are looking for true happiness, invest in this Fleur of England set! It won't love you and leave you; it will love you, and keep on loving you!
The matching briefs complete the looks with a lace panel on the back. The delicate lace contrasts with the silk detailing and adds a sensuous finish.
One of my favourites of this week’s selection!
Bra & Knicker 'Ménage a Trois' - Mimi Holliday.
Simple, sweet and safe. Nothing too fancy or fussy, and nothing too OTT.
Made from white lace, it exudes simplicity and beauty all at once. The bra has enforced moulded cups, providing a smooth bust shape, and also making it wearable under t-shirts.
The cups are trimmed with a leopard print silk trim to add a slightly fierce look.
This is one not to miss, and well worth the money as is appropriate for everyday wear!
Want to know 'How to Marry a Millionaire'? Well this is the bra for you.
Self titled, it is perfect to grab yourself a rich man, from the luxurious brand Gilda & Pearl.
It promotes a true English Rose feel, made from luxurious lace, eyelash trims and silk ribbons. You can't get more ethereal than this piece.
Go on, spoil yourself!

Absolutely love these pieces from Agent Provocateur. They are a selection from the Spring/ Summer 2011 collection.
The whole collection is really young, fresh and flirty! With beautiful, rich fabrics and pastel colours running throughout, garments are soft, feminine and ultra girly.
There's a hint at 60's inspiration, with the lilac Joseline collection. They come in a lovely, luxurious lilac, with lace trims and intricate detailing. An air of innocence and naivety is being exuded, along with a fun, playful feel, perfect for those summer romances!
The Trista collection comes in baby pink cotton, and again appears innocent, however has a slightly more pin-up appearance. The pieces have rows and rows of frills around the neckline and hipline, making them designated as perhaps more bedroom wear as I can’t imagine wearing them under clothes! Each piece has at least one little black satin bow neatly placed, adding glamour in comparison to the soft cotton used. They are flirtatious, frilly and frivolous!
Next is the Pamelina collection. This is one of my favourites. With a tutu skirt suspender as part of the collection it reminds me of my days as a ballet dancer! The colour is a beautiful, luxurious mint green. Not usually a colour I would pick but it truly is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! Made from Swiss tulle this collection has volume and va-va-voom. It has a very vintage appeal to it, yet fits in perfectly with the other collections with its innocence and purity. Definitely a collection to spoil yourself with!
Lastly, the Laurie collection. I absolutely adore this collection, it is so cute and adorable, very baby doll style. With soft buttermilk coloured satin as the main fabric, covered in multi-coloured dots it reminds me of the prints available for young teenagers. However the designs and shapes of the garments add a grown up feel, as does the use of satin giving a slinky appearance. A shirt is part of the collection and it is to die for; made out of spotted satin chiffon it has large satin strips to wrap around the waist and secure in an oversized bow! The look is again retro and innocent, yet this collection is such a tease, with an open front shirt and puffball high waist skirt. They are just waiting to be worn, only to been blown by a gust of wind to reveal the matching bra and knickers underneath!
That's all for the moment. Time to clean my flat, I've neglected it for a while so I've got a manic cleaning spree. But I'm ready to go with my Sainsbury's basics washing up gloves and my antibactierial spray at the ready! P.s. wanted to post a photo of my new Mac, absolutely love it. It's got massive gold buttons with boats on and big swashbuckling buckles!
